Objective OF THE EVENT

The event was held by Panacea to help and mentor the students of GSS School Thekariya, and to provide them with the basic knowledge of computers and their applications. This activity was planned with the main objective of social outreach and to help the community and the underprivileged.

Event Summary

The event took place on 30th March 2019, from 11 am to 2:30 pm. This event was organized in a small rural Government School in Thekariya, Jaipur, connecting with the youth on the grass-root level. The young students were provided with a three-hour session in which they were taught about the fundamentals of computers as well as their applications. They were taught some basic operations on computers along with some hands on experience on MS Paint and other such applications.

The students from the university, under the guidance of Prof. Dr.) VS Dhaka (Head CCE Department) and Asst. Prof. Gaurav Prasad, with the assistance of Asst. Prof. Dr.) K Muthukumaran, gave an Audio-Visual presentation, which covered the topics and the importance of software, hardware and the components of a computer system. Moreover, the students were provided with hands on experience on the personal laptops of the club students from the university. This was done to help the students of the school to incorporate computers in their daily routine and make it easier by bringing it into mainstream life. Besides this session, the students were provided with refreshments, which were provided with the help of the and students of the Club.
