OVERVIEW

The program aims at reforming and expanding the planning education in India to bridge the shortage of qualified professions in the domain of Urban Planning. As a student, you will also receive training on technical skills such as needs assessment, data collection, survey, spatial mapping, quantitative methods, analysis, plan preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Present industry needs such as Spatial Mapping and Geoinformatics, Data Analytics, Development/Project Finance, Sustainability, Project Structuring, Research methods, Technical Writing, and relevant software skills such as Programming have also been incorporated as part of the curriculum. Advanced Labs for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System and Drone based land surveying tool. Exposure to advanced modelling tools like Stella and for statistical data analyzing such as Excel Stats and SPSS.
