OVERVIEW
The Fashion Design Department at Manipal University Jaipur offers a wide range of programs, including a B.Des (Fashion Design) program and a Ph.D. program. Sewing Lab
Sewing lab is equipped with latest and high class industrial sewing machine alongwith specialized machine such as button holing, button sewing, feed of the arm, flat lock, overlock and computerized embroidery machine
The laboratory assistant, Mr. Priyadarshan, is an experienced pattern maker and master tailor helping the students to convert fabrics to exquisiteย garments.
Pattern making lab
Pattern Making Lab is equipped with drafting tables, precision cutting tools and a wide range of materials used in pattern development. Students and researchers have access to an extensive collection of mannequins and dress forms that aid in the precise creation of clothing patterns.
CAD Lab
CAD Lab is equipped with a suite of industry-standard design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and other specialized fashion design programs. It features high-performance computers with advanced graphics capabilities, large-format printers, and digitizing tablets to facilitate seamless digital design and illustration.
Textile Design Lab
A Textile Lab is a collaborative space catering to the creative minds of Architecture and Fashion Design students. Here, imagination knows no bounds. Our workshop features cutting-edge technology, including high-end CNC machines, precise thermal cutting tools, and cutting-edge 3D printing capabilities.
