OVERVIEW

The Department of Psychology under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences was established at Manipal University Jaipur, in 2012. The department aims at providing the psychology students with theoretical foundation and practical knowledge in the areas of organizational psychology, vocational psychology, counselling psychology and clinical psychology, as well as the upcoming fields such as positive psychology, health psychology and environmental psychology. The primary objective of the department is to facilitate teaching-learning environment including practical training and research in the discipline of psychology. Applications of psychology are major focus of the department.

Psychological Assesment Lab

The Department of Psychology has well equipped laboratories to train the students for psychological testing and experimentation. The department has a rich collection of psychological tests and other assessment tools used for various academic and research activities. The lab facilities are updated regularly so that the students get exposure and experience in using the latest psychological tests for assessment of human behaviour.
