Head, Department of Psychology

Dr. Vineeth is an Associate Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Psychology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), Manipal University Jaipur. He is Ph.D., M.Sc., and UGC-NET in Psychology and has over 18 years of experience in academics and research in higher educational institutions.

He had joined Manipal University Jaipur in July 2018. Before joining Manipal University Jaipur, he was associated with the School of Management, BML Munjal University, Gurgaon, SRM University, and Amity University Jaipur.

His subjects of interest include psychometric testing and assessment, clinical and applied psychology, personality and individual differences, and military psychology. He has published several research papers in high-impact peer-reviewed national and international journals indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science, and UGC-CARE. His book Military Psychology: Concepts Trends and Interventions, published by Sage Publications, is widely referred to in military sciences.

He has been a member of the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), and the American Psychological Association (APA). He has organized international conferences in the arena of positive psychology-based interventions. Over the years, he has been actively undertaking management development and training programs for management professionals, defence scientists, and service personnel.
