Refund of Fee in case of Withdrawal of Admission

A refund claim by a provisionally admitted student (a student is considered as provisionally admitted on completion of fee payment process) may be admitted on merit, after due consideration of request by the University. If approved, the amount to be refunded shall be as per the following guidelines [as per provisions of the UGC notifications issued on 12th June 2024 and in Oct 2018]:

For any Admission Schedule Extending / Commencing beyond / after 31 October, the Provisions below shall apply:
3 15 days or more before the formally notified last date of admission# 100%
4 Less than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission# 90%
5 15 days or less after the formally notified last date of admission# 80%
6 30 days or less, but more than 15 days, after formally notified last day of admission# 50%
7 More than 30 days after formally notified last date of admission# 0% (Nil)

* Inclusive of course fee, but exclusive of caution deposit
# The last date of admission for a program is the day prior to the orientation day of that program.

Note:

  1. Requests for withdrawal should be made in the application format available at the Office of Admissions.
  2. The refund will be made only after the student has surrendered the ID card, original fee receipt and submission of the due’s clearance certificate.
  3. Fees shall be refunded to an eligible student within forty-five days from the date of receipt of hard copy of the application, if the refund claim is admissible as per the above policy.
  4. In case withdrawal request is submitted after less than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission / day prior to the orientation day, physical reporting of candidate / parent / guardian to the Admissions Office is mandatory to complete the withdrawal formalities.
  5. Any student who withdraws from the Program as mentioned in Sr. No. 7 in the above Table, will be required to remit to the University, in addition to the amount already forfeited, the Program fee payable for the remaining period of the program.
  6. In case of Foreign / NRI candidates, the refund will be made in accordance with Foreign Exchange Regulations / RBI as per the prevailing rates of exchange.
  7. Application and Entrance Test fees, wherever applicable, shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
  8.
