B. Tech Computer Science and Bioscience
OVERVIEW
The B. Tech in Computer Science and Biosciences program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both fields, allowing them to bridge the gap between computer science and biosciences. This interdisciplinary strategy is necessary for solving many real-world issues, including disease prevention, food security, and environmental sustainability. The curriculum typically includes courses in computer programming, algorithms, data structures, computer networks, database management systems, and software engineering, along with courses in biology, genetics, biotechnology, biochemistry, and microbiology. The program prepares students for a wide range of career opportunities in the areas of bioinformatics, biotechnology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and research and development. Graduates can work as data analysts, software developers, bioinformatics analysts, computational biologists, research scientists, or can pursue higher studies in fields such as bioinformatics, computational biology, or biotechnology.

The department of Chemical Engineering at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), with its world class academic team and infrastructure have played a major role in shaping my career.
