Prof. (Dr.) Pratistha Mathur joined Manipal University Jaipur in July 2016, after previously working at Banasthali Vidyapith in Rajasthan. She has been teaching for 26 years. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Banasthali Vidyapith in Rajasthan in 2012. She received a gold medal for completing her Master of Technology in Computer Science at Banasthali Vidyapith in 1998.

Dr Pratistha has over 60 papers in SCI, Scopus, and other peer-reviewed journals. Her research focusses on artificial intelligence, image processing, and soft computing techniques.

She has been actively involved in numerous academic activities at MUJ and has been at the Directorate of Academics since 2019 and has helped manage the development of the MUJ ERP system, preparation of Academic Handbooks, coordinate class committee meetings, and BOS, among other things. She is currently the Coordinator of the Faculty Board of Engineering and the Co-Coordinator of the University UHV Cell. She also serves as the department's research coordinator, OBE coordinator, and a member of the NBA and NAAC committees at Department level.
