Dr. Kamakhya Prakash Misra obtained his PhD in Physics in the year 2011 from the University of Lucknow. He joined MUJ in the year 2013 as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics. He has published over 75 research articles in the international journals of repute and conference proceedings. He has edited a book namely ‘Ceramic Science and Engineering: Basics to Recent Advancements’ which was published by Elsevier in the year 2022. He has authored four book chapters. Driven by his literary interest he has authored a novel ‘The Guest Faculty’. As Co-PI, he has successfully completed a project funded by UGC-DAE-CSR Indore centre. He is an active reviewer for several journals of high impact such as Acta Biomaterialia, Journal of alloys and compounds, Ceramics International, Applied Surface science etc. He is on the panel of editorial boards of three Q1 journals namely Nanomedicine, Materials technology, International journal of nanomedicine published by Taylor and Francis. He has an international collaboration with University Texas at El Paso, USA and several national collaborations.
