Dr C S Lamba is a Professor of Computer Science Engineering with over 24 years of teaching and research experience, including 14 years as a Professor. He earned his Ph.D. in Network Security from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, in 2008. He is a proud alumnus of the prestigious Sainik School, Kunjpura, BITS Pilani, and XLRI.

Dr. Lamba joined Manipal University Jaipur in May 2017 as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering, with the additional responsibility of heading Corporate Relations and Placements. Through innovative initiatives and a strong focus on industry engagement, he onboarded more than 200 companies, including several Global Fortune 500 companies. The placement percentage increased from 25% to 92%, the average salary rose from ₹3.5 LPA to ₹9.5 LPA, and the median salary improved from ₹3 LPA to ₹8.5 LPA. He has published more than 30 published research papers and the successful guided 14 Ph.D. scholars. As a Principal Investigator, he has secured research grants exceeding ₹60 lakh from AICTE and DST and played a pivotal role in establishing Rajasthan Technical University’s first research center at RCEW in 2012. He has also held key leadership positions where his contributions have been remarkable, including Principal of Rajasthan Institute of Engineering Technology (RIET) and Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women (RCEW), as well as Director of Academics and Training & Placements at JECRC University, Jaipur.
