OVERVIEW

The BSc Biotechnology programme is an interdisciplinary branch of biological science that provides a fundamental platform across modern biotechnological processes designed according to current societal needs. It is streamlined to provide the latest knowledge of various cellular processes and understanding of the basics behind them, along with the development of diverse technologies. It is a broad and lively subject where new ideas emerge and encourage students as well as faculty members to study the structure, functions, behavior, and problems of living organisms. The main objective of the course is to prepare students for different biotechnological processes/products and enterprises with a modern global outlook in both the government and the corporate sectors. The knowledge gained through studying biotechnology leads to the production of various goods of human use, helpful in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
