OVERVIEW
The Department of Commerce fosters excellence in teaching at the Undergraduate and Post graduate levels. The department offers undergraduate programs [B.Com (Hons) Accouting & B.Com (Hons) Fintech] and post graduate program [M.Com (Financial Analysis)]. The department aims to provide the students with a wide range of skills and competencies in the field of commerce and management. Faculty members at department have a proven track record of research and publications in the fields of banking, accountancy, finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, human resources, and allied subjects.
The B.Com (Hons) Accounting program opens the door to a world of financial expertise. The program provides in-depth knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial management, while also developing analytical and decision-making skills of students. This program paves the way for lucrative careers in auditing, banking, and corporate finance. This B.Com (Hons) Accounting program is also collaborated with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) UK, which provides the students with the exception of nine papers.
B.Com (Hons) Fintech program empowers students to become future-ready professionals capable of navigating the complexities of the modern financial world by integrating technology-driven financial solutions. Aspiring to work in financial technology, banking, investment management and entrepreneurship, B.Com (Hons) Fintech offers a strong foundation to students for success in the digital finance era.
M.Com (Financial Analysis) program provides professional education and training in business and finance, focusing on analytical skills to tackle global challenges. Spanning two years, it covers financial markets, investment analysis, risk management, and financial reporting to prepare industry-ready finance professionals.
