Xpression – A Celebration of Togetherness at MUJ
At Manipal University Jaipur, we believe that a great workplace is built on camaraderie, collaboration, and a shared sense of belonging. Xpression is our way of bringing the MUJ family together and celebrating this spirit—an annual cultural and sports event exclusively for our employees.
The Beginning of a Tradition
Xpression began in 2018 with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a healthier, more balanced, and collaborative work environment where employees could connect beyond their daily roles. In the regular academic world, interactions often remain limited to immediate teams, making it essential to develop stronger connections across departments. Xpression was envisioned as a platform to break hierarchy barriers—bringing everyone together through energy, excitement, and friendly competition. Over the years, it has evolved into a much-awaited tradition, celebrating talent, teamwork, and friendships, making MUJ not just a workplace but a close-knit community. Latest edition – Xpression 6.0 – The Grand Story was bigger with our employees’ family members also participating in it.

From sports tournaments that span weeks to a grand cultural finale, Xpression is an experience that strengthens bonds, promotes teamwork, and brings out the best in everyone.
What makes Xpression special is the diversity of activities that allow everyone to participate, engage, and enjoy:
- Sports battles: Employees participate in cricket, badminton, and kho-kho to other exciting games. The cricket tournament is a major highlight, featuring a live auction where leaders build their teams, just like in professional leagues.
- Cultural Activities: The grand finale is nothing short of a spectacle, with employees gracing the stage through fashion shows, ramp walks, dance, music, and other creative performances.
- Fun & Games: Engaging and light-hearted games add to the excitement of the event, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
