About the Directorate:
The Manipal University Jaipur Teacher Empowerment Centre (MUJ TEC) was established in 2017 with a primary focus on advancing teacher training to facilitate their professional and personal growth. Empowering educators with a sense of efficacy enables them to actively participate and make meaningful contributions toward the realization of institutional goals and objectives. MUJ TEC, through a diverse range of programs, offers the teaching staff a platform for experiential learning and hands-on training delivered by experts, thereby nurturing their potential and fostering continuous professional development.
The training programs provided by MUJ TEC encourage teachers to collaborate, share innovative teaching and learning tools, apply strategies, utilize available resources, and acquire new skills. These initiatives enable educators to better address the needs of their students. Empowered and skilled teachers play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall learning outcomes of each student.
MUJ TEC is committed to equipping all faculty members with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively engage with millennial learners, promote active learning, deliver value-infused education, sustain motivation, practice objective assessment, and further academic leadership within the institution

Objective of MUJ-TEC:
- To provide up-gradation of knowledge, skill and intends to provide opportunities for induction training to faculty members employed in all disciplines across Manipal University Jaipur.
- To organize Faculty Development Program (FDP) to cover areas like but not limited to education policy, new concepts, methods and techniques, theory and skills development and up gradation of pedagogy educational technology, motivation, communication skills, management and other relevant issues to keep pace with the changing scenario in Education.
- To enhance the teaching and other skills of the faculty
- To make them aware about modern teaching tools and methodologies.
- To provide an opportunity to acquire knowledge about current developments in relevant fields.
- To promote the professional practices relevant to higher education
- To motivate the faculty to achieve competitive teaching and learning environment, thus channelizing development with respect to academic qualifications and personal matters.
