OVERVIEW
The Department of Economics at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed to provide students with an elective mix of pure practical, analytical as well as theoretical knowledge in the areas of microeconomics, macroeconomics, industrial and managerial economics, comparative economic policy issues, money, and banking systems, international economics, quantitative analytical methods, understanding Indian and International economy and its system as well as the upcoming fields such as environmental economics, energy economics, financial and Public economics, urban and regional economics, neuroeconomics, game theory, Application of Data Science in economics, Operational research in economics, etc. The department has well qualified, self motivated & energetic faculty members who mentor the students with enthusiasm.

The department aims to develop a conducive education ecosystem of global standards fulfilling three-fold objective of teaching, learning and research. It is geared towards promoting principled, positive, interactive, and experiential educational experience for an all-round personality development of students.

Manipal University,Jaipur has one of the best infrasturcture you"ll experience in a college. The classrooms and laboratories are fully equipped and Air Conditioned. Sports facilities at Muj are one of the finest and hostels are one of the best hostels a college can have with centralized air conditioners and heaters. The quality of teaching is excellent as teachers are good . Best part is the circullum that makes this college more good that you have very much time for yourself due to very less workload and less classes. It helps you to be job ready also.

College infrastructure is outstanding. The college has 2 academic blocks (3rd one is under construction), spacious labs and classrooms with centralized air. Most of the teachers are highly educated and are very helpful when asked. The curriculum gets updated every academic year by the faculty. conditioned and are very well equipped. Hostel rooms are very hygienic and the campus is filled with lush green bushes and trees.
