OVERVIEW

BA (Hons./Hons. with Research) Journalism and Mass Communication is a 3+1 year undergraduate program designed as per the guidelines of National Education Policy-2020. The program is customized keeping in view the changing trends and media landscape of the world. The curriculum is of the global standard to meet the expectations of the aspiring new age media and communication professionals. This program will enable the students to compete with their contemporaries as it provides a wide range of optional courses. The techno-creative program aims to meet the skill requirements of media studies students. It is a 3+1-year program where a student can exit after 3 years with a simple BA Journalism and Mass Communication Degree. In the 4th year students can opt for the Honours or Honours with Research degree by choosing the relevant courses from the curriculum basket.
