OVERVIEW

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Manipal University Jaipur has provided a comprehensive education in computer science since the inception of its B.Tech. CSE program in 2011. This program is designed not only to prepare students for various employment opportunities but also to cultivate their entrepreneurial spirit, ensuring they are equipped to make meaningful contributions to the corporate world and beyond. Programming Lab

The Programming Lab provides a diverse range of high-performance computing systems, including HP workstations powered by Intel Core i5-1235U processors, RAM 16 GB, 1 TB HDD and 250 GB SSD. These machines offer flexibility with varying RAM and storage configurations to support research and educational tasks. With 30 workstations, the lab facilitates various software for performing numerous labs related to data structure and advanced algorithms.

Database Management System /Operating System Lab

This Database Management System / Operating System Lab is a vital part of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, providing cutting-edge facilities. With 30 HP PROBOOK 400G3 PCs sporting Intel Core i5-6500s 3.0 GHz 6M 2133 processors, 4GB RAM, and 500GB HDD each, it stands as a dynamic centre for students to explore the intricacies of Database Management Systems and Operating Systems.

System Software/Web Technology Lab

The System Software\Web Technology lab is at the forefront of technology, offering a comprehensive array of software tools and technologies for students to gain practical experience in web development. Equipped with advanced systems featuring Intel Core i5-7400, 7th Generation processors, 1TB HDD storage, and 8GB DDR4 RAM, this lab serves as an ideal environment for hands-on learning. Here, students delve into various facets of web development, ranging from website design to client-side scripting, server-side scripting, and web application development. Moreover, the lab fosters collaboration among students, providing an opportunity to work on real-world projects encompassing web design, web application development, and e-commerce solutions. Additionally, students have the chance to enhance their knowledge of web security, optimization techniques, and accessibility standards, thus preparing them for a prosperous career in web development.

Central Computing Lab

The Central Computing Lab of CSE Department, provides a diverse range of high-performance computing systems, including HP workstations powered by Intel Core i5-1235 U processors (HP 240 Pro G9 All-in-one PC), 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD and 250 GB SSD. These machines offer flexibility with varying RAM and storage configurations to support research and educational tasks. This lab includes 114 PC with advanced configuration and largest lab of the department.

Cloud Infrastructure Lab

The Cloud Infrastructure Lab provides hands-on training in cloud computing with two configurations: Intel Core i5-10210U CPU/8GB RAM/1TB HDD/256GB SSD and Intel Core i5-1235U CPU/16GB RAM/1TB HDD/256GB SSD. Students learn provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud resources, mastering virtualization and cloud services. Through collaborative projects, they gain practical experience in designing scalable cloud architectures and optimizing performance. The lab's focus on real-world scenarios equips students with the skills needed for careers in cloud infrastructure management, where they contribute to the ongoing evolution of cloud computing technologies.

The Computing Lab, equipped with HP 240 Pro G9 All-in-one PCs featuring Intel Core i5-1235 U processors, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, and 256 GB SSD, serves as a versatile workspace for students. Here, they delve into various computing concepts, from programming and software development to data analysis and system administration. The lab environment facilitates hands-on learning, enabling students to experiment with different operating systems and software applications. Through collaborative projects and practical exercises, students hone their problem-solving skills and gain proficiency in computational techniques. The Computing Lab fosters innovation and creativity, preparing students for the diverse challenges of the digital age.

Intelligent Computing Lab

The Intelligent Computing Lab, situated in Room 305, is at the forefront of research in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Equipped with cutting-edge computing resources and advanced software tools, this lab serves as a hub for exploring innovative algorithms, developing intelligent systems, and addressing complex problems in areas such as natural language processing, computer vision, and data analytics. With a multidisciplinary approach, the Intelligent Computing Lab aims to advance the understanding and capabilities of intelligent systems, contributing to advancements in technology and science.

High Performance Computing Lab

High Performance Computing Lab, a cutting-edge facility dedicated to harnessing high-performance computing (HPC) resources for tackling demanding computational challenges spanning various fields. Equipped with advanced hardware architectures and tailored software tools primed for efficiency. Leveraging VMware cloud servers, the High Performance Computing Lab extends its capabilities, providing scientists and engineers with enhanced accessibility and scalability for their projects.
