The Data Structure and Algorithm lab of Computer Science and Engineering department, provides a diverse range of high-performance computing systems, including HP workstations powered by Intel Core i5-1235U processors, RAM 16 GB, 1 TB HDD and 250 GB SSD. These machines offer flexibility with varying RAM and storage configurations to support research and educational tasks. With 30 workstations, the lab facilitates various software for performing numerous labs related to data structure and advanced algorithms.
This Database Programming Lab is a part of the CSE department, boasts advanced technology, including 30 HP PROBOOK 400G3 PCs with Intel Core i5-6500s 3.0 Ghz 6M 2133 processors, 4GB RAM, and 500GB HDD. It serves as a dynamic hub for preparing the minor or major projects related to web technology and databases.
This lab provides high-Performance Computing Workstation of HP Z210 WORKSTATION, Intel Xeon E 1225 316M, RAM 8GB, with 500GB HDD. Information security is of critical importance in this generation of digital communication using telephone lines and computer networks. The objective of this laboratory is to provide students research opportunity on data transmission security and data recovery. Simultaneously, complexities associated with threat to security on data transmission are also studied.
Research facilities of this laboratory are open to M. Tech students in typical areas of cryptography, security management, and security testing. Many of its projects have been recognized by professional companies and also published in magazines and newspapers.
The Central Computing Lab of CSE Department, provides a diverse range of high-performance computing systems, including HP workstations powered by Intel Core i5-1235 U processors (HP 240 Pro G9 All-in-one PC), 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD and 250 GB SSD. These machines offer flexibility with varying RAM and storage configurations to support research and educational tasks. This lab includes 114 PC with advanced configuration and largest lab of the department.
Lab 008 is an advanced computing facility equipped with cutting-edge technology, designed to facilitate research and practical learning in the fields of networking, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The lab is equipped with 57 high-performance computing systems (HP 200 G4 22 ALL IN ONE and HP PRO ONE 240 G9 23 ALL IN ONE) and a range of software such as Cisco packet tracer, VS Code, Anaconda + Python and more to support diverse learning and research needs. Students and researchers have access to a variety of tools and resources, enabling them to explore and experiment with complex computing concepts.
This dynamic lab is primarily dedicated to fostering an in-depth understanding of networking and delving into the intricacies of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The comprehensive setup allows for hands-on practical sessions and extensive research opportunities, preparing students for the challenges of the modern digital landscape. With its state-of-the-art infrastructure and a diverse array of software, Lab 008 serves as a nurturing ground for students and researchers, empowering them to develop practical skills and engage in cutting-edge research in the realms of computer systems, networking, and advanced computing technologies.
The IoT (Internet of Things) Lab is a cutting-edge facility designed to empower students in their pursuit of minor and major projects related to IoT technologies. This well-equipped lab offers a wide range of resources, including Arduino microcontrollers, five Raspberry Pi microcontrollers, an oscilloscope, a signal generator, and a DC power supply. These tools are essential for prototyping, programming, and testing IoT devices, making it a vibrant hub for innovation and hands-on learning. Students have the opportunity to explore and experiment with IoT concepts, creating smart devices and applications that bridge the physical and digital worlds.
The M.Tech Lab, designed for postgraduate students, boasts 15 high-performance workstations featuring Intel Core-i7 12th Gen processors, 32GB RAM, and RTX 3060 graphics cards. With rapid SSDs and capacious HDDs, it supports research, experimentation, and project development, offering the computational power needed for advanced technology studies and excellence.
