OVERVIEW

Department of Civil Engineering is running B.Tech, M.Tech & PhD Programs. Department have highly qualified faculties with PhD from IITs, IISc, NITs and abroad. The department is bestowed with senior faculty members having vast experience in field projects. The curriculum of M.Tech program is industry aligned along with well-equipped lab and dedicated faculties. Department have state of art laboratories equipped with all essential equipment. The additional research facility includes instrumentation viz. Carbonation Chamber, RCPT equipment, Double-Beam Spectrophotometer, Laminar Air-Flow Hood, Incubator with Orbital Shaker, Ambient air monitoring equipment, and many others like Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer in the Central Instrumentation Facility, MUJ. The department has been constantly involved in a range of research and consultancy projects funded by IITs, DST, DBT, Ministry of Mines, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (USA), IHE Delft, amongst others. Further, the departmental academia/ industry connects enables student placements in organizations in India as well as higher studies abroad.
