OVERVIEW

Mechanical engineering encompasses a broad spectrum of activities, ranging from designing intricate components to constructing large-scale machines and systems. Industrial sectors in which Mechanical Engineers have traditionally made substantial contributions include aerospace, automotive, chemical, computer and electronics, construction, consumer products, energy, engineering consulting and the government. In addition, the medical and pharmaceutical industries also present exciting opportunities. B.Tech. - Mechanical Engineering enables students to acquire the skills and the knowledge to be able to build machines that define tomorrow. With a well-stocked library and laboratory, students can learn the theory of Mechanical Engineering in-depth while also putting it to practice all within the campus. This program also allows lateral entry.
