OVERVIEW

Mechatronics engineering is an emerging field of engineering which involves the combination of different disciplines viz. Mechanical, Electronics & Electrical, Instrumentation and Computer Science Engineering. The course curriculum has been designed aptly to cater the ever-expanding demands of research and industry by consolidating the views of all stake holders. The main objective of the department is to impart a quality education and make the students industry ready. The Department of Mechatronics Engineering started its first B. Tech Program of Mechatronics Engineering in the year 2012. Presently the intake is 30 to cater the individual attention scenario. Faculty members in the department are well qualified and have rich teaching and research experience. The various specialization of faculties includes interdisciplinary areas like Robotics & Automation, Internet of Things, AI&ML, Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation & control and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems etc. The department has a team of 15 dedicated faculty members who can provide state-of-art exposure to students with quality approach to research and development.
