Dr Shilpi Birla is the HoD, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, School of Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur, with effect from 18th January 2024. She is currently working as Associate Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Dr Shilpi joined Manipal University Jaipur in the year 2015 and has earned her Doctoral degree in low power memory circuits. She worked as nucleus member in Directorate of Academics from 2018-2023 and plays a key role in students’ internship and placements through her alumni network, continuous industrial collaborations, and student goodwill.
