Head, Department of IOT and Intelligent Systems

Dr. Geeta Rani is working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Dept of IoT and Intelligent Systems at Manipal University Jaipur. She has teaching experience of more than 16 years at various organizations of repute such as NSIT Delhi, GD Goenka University Gurgaon, and Manipal University Jaipur. Dr. Geeta received her PhD degree in Computer Engineering from NSIT, University of Delhi, in 2017. She is the chief editor of two books, has published more than 70 research articles in SCI and SCOPUS indexed journals of repute. She has more than 15 patents and 20 copyrights on the software applications and inventions in artificial Intelligence. Dr. Geeta is a recipient of the ‘Women Scientist-IPR Fellowship’ in 2018 from the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. She has received Excellence Award for 5 consecutive years from Manipal University Jaipur for her contributions in academics and research. She also received funding from the European Union for Project proposal writing and PhD consortium. Her research interests include applications of artificial intelligence, image processing and data analytics in healthcare, agriculture, and renewable energy.
