This lab provides an overview of the basic Communication based experiments where students would learn how transmitter and receiver system works. The student would have an opportunity to make projects sample as well.
This lab also houses CST MICROWAVE STUDIO which is a specialist tool for the 3D EM simulation of high frequency components. CST promotes Complete Technology for 3D EM and enables the fast and accurate analysis of high frequency (HF) devices such as antennas, filters, couplers, planar and multi-layer structures and SI and EMC effects. CST MWS quickly gives you an insight into the EM behaviour of your high frequency designs and offers further solver modules for specific applications.
This Lab provides competency areas in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems including IC designing concepts & Embedded system designing concepts to analyze and design complex systems containing hardware and software components.
The Simulation lab emphasizes mainly on simulation of systems such as Neural networks, Control systems etc with MATLAB software.
The Semiconductor Device Fabrication Lab is engaged in the basic research and technology development of silicon and organic based materials and devices.
This Laboratory Course is offered by Dept. of Electrical Engineering, targeting students to pursue research & development in industries or higher studies in field of Electrical Engineering, including Economic Load Dispatch, semiconductor Flow Management and semiconductor System Protection. The Lab course familiarizes students with skills required for power system analysis in software environment. It deals with the practical understanding of various protection schemes required for motor, transformer and generator protection. Students are expected to have background knowledge on semiconductor Systems Analysis and switch gear & protection for a better learning.
FlexiMEMS Research Centre (FMRC) focuses on fundamental research in the area of Flexible Biosensors and advanced energy storage device technology. FMRC is available for research and internship for all interested researchers from UG/PG and Ph.D. Scholars from MUJ and outside MUJ.
This is a first-level laboratory that aims to familiarize the student with working and characteristics of electronic devices and analog integrated circuits for providing the foundation for Integrated Electronics. Students are made familiar with and their intended use in various applications. The students are encouraged to design the circuits, analyze outputs and learns to report data.
Experiments of digital lab are implemented at Hardware as well as software level. List of experiments include study of implementation of combinational and arithmetic circuits using logic gates and MSI chips, designing of sequential circuits and implementation of FSMs for their applications. Also, students are introduced to Computer Architecture, Microprocessor and Assembly language programming with experiments to be performed using 80x86 / Arm / OpenSPARC.
MUJ provides a conducive environment for growth and learning and inspires its student to incessantly stive for excellence in every fieldThe state-of-the-art VLSI Labs and knowledgeable faculty made me pursue the VLSI field.
I was introduced to VLSI, the semiconductor world at MUJ. The faculties provide guidance, constant support and encouragement to students to grow in interested field.
The problem-solving and learner-centric environment at MUJ has provided me a perfect platform to shape my career in VLSI.
Constant experimental learning and classroom learning gave me a foundation to pursue a career in VLSI with a research publication in undergraduate studies.
Support and guidance provided by faculty helped me develop a strong foundation in the field and ultimately led to my success as a Hardware Engineer.
MUJ has helped me build my career in the stream which I have always looked forward to. Professors here are the best in their domain.
I can vouch that MUJ provided us a strong foundation in electronics that enabled us to excel in our field of work which industry requires.
Department of ECE motivated me to work hard with their highly industry-relevant curriculum and well-established laboratories offering plethora of opportunities to students interested in research
