OVERVIEW
The Department of Commerce fosters excellence in teaching Graduate and Post Graduate programs. The department offers two undergraduate programs and one post graduate program. The commerce program at MUJ has been designed to address emerging market needs and ensure excellent job opportunities. It aims to provide the students with a wide range of skills and competencies in the field of commerce and management. The three years program equips students with the knowledge of Accounting principles, Finance, Export & Import laws, Economic policies, and other aspects that impacts trade & business. The program aims at achieving excellence in commerce education and training for accounting, taxation, banking, changing socio- cultural aspirations, the IT revolution and globalization of economies. Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Accounting is also collaborated with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) UK, which provides the students with exemption of nine papers. Faculty members have a proven track record of research and publications in the fields of Banking, Accountancy, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Human Resources, and allied subjects.
