OVERVIEW
The Department of Computer Applications at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) has always been endeavours for academic excellence with the most advanced curriculum and syllabus. Ever since its inception in 2019, the department has attained unparalleled heights and stands on par quality among its equivalent programs. The Department has proven its academic competence and success with an extensive range of courses offered both at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. The Department offers Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), BCA Specialization (Cybersecurity/Data Science) and BCA (Hon) Software Product Engineering at the undergraduate level, and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at the PG level, subsequently department is active in research and Development activities of various computer application domain, department is offering Ph.D. in Computer Science. The Department of Computer Applications prepares students to design, develop and implement software applications. Department emphasizes on the latest programming languages, cutting edge technologies and tools to make the students ready for the IT Industry. The department aims to become a Center of Excellence in providing in-depth technical knowledge and opportunities for innovation and research with state-of-the-art computer facilities and is to produce versatile students making them ready to be employed and capable of cross disciplinary collaboration in industry/government sector/higher education/research and development/entrepreneurship.

The DCA Lab 015 is equipped with state of Art high End Computer Systems. The lab is lso eqipped with heavy configured server and different hardware of IoT devices such as sensors and actuators.
Project Completed:
HYBRID IRRIGATION SYSTEM FOR SMART AGRICULTURE USING IOT: An automated irrigation system was developed using the Internet of Things. This irrigation system was designed to manage the irrigation scheduling for different crops on the same farm. By employing this automated irrigation system, farmers can control and monitor the irrigation of crops and other farm conditions, for example, soil moisture, temperature, wind speed, water status, rain status, etc. This system helps increase the production of crops by minimizing water use and manpower.
