OVERVIEW

The B.Sc. (Hons./Hons. with Research) Physical Science program has been specially designed to empower students in the domain of interdisciplinary undergraduate degree that integrates the foundational principles of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. This program offers students a comprehensive understanding of the interconnections between the core scientific Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics disciplines. Through a blend of theoretical coursework, laboratory experiences and practical applications, students develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities and a strong quantitative background.

One of the key features of the B.Sc. (Hons./Hons. with Research) Physical Science is its interdisciplinary approach. Students learn to apply concepts from multiple disciplines to analyze complex systems, make predictions and solve real-world problems. This interdisciplinary perspective fosters creativity, innovation and collaboration across scientific domains. Hands-on laboratory experiences are an integral part of the B.Sc. program. Laboratory courses provide opportunities for students to develop essential skills in experimental design, data collection, analysis and interpretation. Additionally, students may have the opportunity to participate in research projects under the guidance of faculty mentors, further enhancing their scientific research and problem-solving abilities.
