Summer University Programme at MUJ

The Summer University Exchange Programme is a joint collaboration between the School of Business and Engineering, Vaud (HEIG-VD), Western Switzerland and Manipal University Jaipur. The second phase of the exchange was held at Manipal University Jaipur from Feb 16th- 27th, 2015. The theme was selected as Real Time Software Development using Digital Signal Processing (DSP) boards & Code Composer Studio (CCS) as the toolkit. The project aims at developing codec using DSP boards and the filters (FIR & IIR) for removing the noise and the delay produce in the audio signal.
The expert talks on the theme entitled “Super hydrophobicity: Nanotechnology the Nature Plays and Engineers Pursue” was given by Prof. N.N.Sharma. A visit to pratham software as industry was also undertaken besides showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan.
The Summer University resulted in an international exposure as well as an experience of working in a group consisting of different nationalities, languages & cultures.
