Session on Innovation and Design Thinking

MUJ, Rajasthan: SCIT, E-cell in association with Directorate of International Collaboration organized a session on “Innovation and Design Thinking” on 25th Oct. 2018.

The session was presided by Dr. Stephanie Buisine who was also the main speaker for the session. She is currently working as a Professor at Nanterre Campus, CESI, France and is a renowned researcher in the field of creativity and design thinking. She has 15 funded projects to her account and published more than 100 papers in international journals/conferences.

The session was primarily based on the innovation challenges of 21st century and their solution through creative design and thinking. Dr. Buisine further stated that everything around is designed in a proper manner and hence possess a unique innovative approach of its own kind. She emphasized that engineering students must garner logic and become creative enough to tackle future challenges. Dr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat delivered vote of thanks. Dr. Amit Jain (Director, International Collaborations) and Dr. Santosh (Mechanical Engineering Department) offered token of gratitude to Prof. Businie for being at MUJ and sharing her ideas and vision.
