COURSE FEE REFUND RULES: AY 2024 - 25 ADMISSIONS

 

REFUND OF FEE IN CASE OF WITHDRAWAL OF ADMISSION

A refund claim can be admitted on merits, after due consideration of the request, by the University. If approved, the amount to be refunded shall be as per the following guidelines [UGC Notification - October 2018]

The last date of admission for a program is the day prior to the orientation day of that program.

 

** In case of (1) in the table above, 5% of the aggregate fee or Rs. 5,000/- (whichever is lower) shall be deducted as processing charges from the refundable amount.

 

Note:

A) Any student who withdraws from the course as mentioned in Sl. No. 4 and Sl. No. 5 in table above, will be required to remit to the University, in addition to the amount already forfeited, the course fee payable for the remaining period of the course.

B) All refunds will be processed by the Student Finance Office of the University upon receiving the approval from the competent authority.

C) Request for withdrawal before the commencement of classes, should be made online by raising a ticket for withdrawal through the application dashboard.

D) The withdrawal request must be sent to the official email id of admissions: admissions@jaipur.manipal.edu

E) After the commencement of classes, request for the withdrawal should be made by filling the prescribed withdrawal form available at the office of Director Academics.

F) The refund request made after commencement of classes will be processed only after the student has surrendered the ID card, original fee receipt and submission of the due’s clearance certificate.

G) In case of Foreign / NRI candidates, the refund will be made in accordance with Foreign Exchange Regulations / RBI as per the prevailing rates of exchange.

H) Application and Entrance Test fees, wherever applicable, once paid shall NOT be refunded.

J)The refund of the fees will only be made in the saving account of parent’s or the candidate after submission of required document like cancelled cheque and valid photo I.D of the account holder.
