The Department of Chemical Engineering was established in 2014 shortly after the University was founded. It was started by a team of three highly qualified faculty members with industrial and research expertise across the globe. Our inspirational and motivated faculty environment facilitates the growth of our students in terms of being responsible and innovative personalities.
The department is currently offering Bachelors program in Chemical Engineering with a flexibility to choose an Honor’s program in any of the two different specialisations either related to Petroleum Engineering or Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE). There is always a great demand for well trained and educated Chemical Engineers with a Petroleum background. Currently, there is a need for skills related to computer applications such as artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and industry 4.0 in chemical/process engineering to improve the industry yields and profitability and the CAPE as specialization will provide a solid background making the student industry ready. The curriculum has been designed to meet the program objectives focusing on learning under the guidance of highly qualified faculty and also to inculcate creative thinking and lifelong contribution towards the advancements in the field of chemical engineering and its applications.
The department is also offering a PhD program in Chemical Engineering under the supervision of an experienced faculty.
Our aim is to impart high quality education in different areas of Chemical Engineering particularly by fostering sustainability principles to improve the quality of life by focusing on valorization of biomass, water treatment, health and environment.
To provide state of the art environment and a rigorous academic program facilitating the students to excel in Chemical and allied areas of engineering. To inculcate leadership qualities and to foster students towards entrepreneurship and research.

The academic program is designed in such a way that the students are free to choose electives over a wide range of courses including humanities and basic sciences for their overall personality development. Students are continuously evaluated based on unannounced quizzes and several assignments which allows them to have strong fundamental background as well as allows them to prepare for competitive exams.
To encourage research, the department has recently floated Ph.D. programme and during this program students will be guided by the experienced faculty to become an independent researcher by doing breaking research within Chemical Engineering domain leading to a PhD thesis. Researchers are supposed to write scientific articles and attend conferences (national/international) as well as contribute to teaching program.

This lab provides a practical demonstration of the concepts relating to Process Dynamics and Control.
This laboratory provides a fundamental and industrial knowledge about different modes of heat transfer equipments
This laboratory aims to familiarize the student with basic fundamental and industrial applications of major mass transfer operations.
This laboratory provides a practical overview of the concepts of Momentum Transfer. Students will have hands-on experience on acquiring data and analyzing the results of various fluid flow operations.

This laboratory provides a fundamental and industrial knowledge about different modes of heat transfer equipments, such as conduction, convection and radiation. It equips the student with quantitative hand-on experience for data acquisition and interpretation for various heat transfer operations.

This laboratory aims to familiarize the student with basic fundamental and industrial applications of major mass transfer operations. This laboratory consists of equipment related to unit operations in mass transfer and empowers the student to analyze quantitatively and generate thermodynamic relationships that assist in designing of mass transfer equipments.
