OVERVIEW

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in 2011 and has well equipped laboratories with meticulously planned layout along with plenty of demonstration boards. Besides offering quality class room teaching, the department is keen on best Lab practices. The communication has permeated into the life style of the human being and forced  every individual to carry a mobile telephone with him/her all through day and night to communicate with any other individual in the country or abroad, the moment he/she thinks. So to say, the communication has become the backbone of the societal development and hence the department of electronics and communication engineering thought to go for the M. Tech. program on Electronics and Communication Engineering.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

 

  • PEO1: Engage in design of systems, tools and applications in the field of electronics & communication engineering and allied engineering domains.
  • PEO2: Apply the knowledge of electronics & communication engineering to solve problems of social relevance, and research.
  • PEO3: Work effectively in a team, carry out multidisciplinary projects, and demonstrate leadership qualities.
  • PEO4: Proactive in lifelong learning, career enhancement, and adapt to changing professional and societal needs.

 

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES

 

  • PSO1: An ability to learn and apply the advanced concepts of VLSI and Embedded System Design, IC design, testing, verification, fabrication, MEMS, flexible electronics and nano-electronics.
  • PSO2: An ability to solve complex VLSI and embedded system related problems, using latest hardware and software tools, along with analytical skills to arrive at cost effective and efficient solutions.
  • PSO3: Capability to integrate skill sets of technical knowledge with social, environmental and ethical responsibility to pursue a successful global career.
