The two-year M.Tech. in Industrial Automation and Robotics programme offers a knowledge in multiple disciplines such as mechanical design, Programming, IOT, Robotics Control, Industrial 4.0 etc. The programme has been designed to meet the latest technologies, industrial standards and is in accordance to all peer academic and research institutes. The graduates would be industry ready for introducing modern and smart technological solutions with skills enhanced in synthesis, analysis, design and optimization of robots and their mechanisms.
The overall mission of M. Tech in Automation and Robotics at Manipal University Jaipur, is to provide quality education to the students.
a) Course Content is designed to make the curriculum compliant with industrial requirements in collaboration with experts from industry experts.
b) Collaboration with various universities for the exchange programs such as Cranfield University (UK), Strathclyde University (UK), Ecole Central De Nantes (France), University of Malta (Europe)
c) Contact with industry personnel for proctoring, internship and the placement of the students.
d) Mentorship by various industries in designing of projects, conducting expert lectures and visits to the industries.
e) Student Section Chapter with International Society of Automation (ISA)
B. Tech /BE in Electronics/ Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Electrical/ CSE/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering / EEE with minimum 55% marks. Or equivalent.
The Robotics engineer has a wide scope in the area of agriculture, E-Commerce, manufacturing, industrial automation, mining etc. The job roles include robotics test engineers, analysts, robot design engineers, Robotics system engineer, senior robotics specialist, robotics technicians, Robotics programmer, Aerospace robotics engineer. The university has collaboration with various industries and universities to help students with placement and higher education.
