Venue : AB 3, Lobby @ 11:00 AM

The Department of Management, TAPMI School of Business, FoMCA, Manipal University Jaipur, successfully organized Ad-Innovate on 30 January 2026 under the umbrella of TechIdeate, in association with DSW-MUJ. The event was designed as a creative and technology-driven advertising challenge aimed at fostering innovation, experiential learning, and practical application of marketing concepts among students.

The event commenced with the registration process from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the main competition from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and concluded with the judgement and award ceremony from 3:00 PM onwards. Students participated in the event in teams of 2–3 members, encouraging collaboration, teamwork, and peer learning.

The activity, titled the Ad-Innovate Challenge, required teams to conceptualize and develop a prototype advertising campaign within a stipulated duration of four hours. Each team was expected to design a comprehensive campaign that included a creative concept comprising a slogan, tagline, and a clearly defined campaign theme. In addition, teams developed a digital asset, such as a creative poster, short video advertisement, or webpage. To enhance technological integration, participants were required to incorporate at least one tech-enabled element, such as an augmented reality (AR) Instagram filter, QR-code-based engagement activity, or AI-generated creative content.

Following the development phase, teams presented their ideas during a structured pitch session, with each team allotted five minutes to present their campaign. The pitch covered the identification of the problem statement, definition of the target audience, explanation of the creative concept, demonstration of the digital asset, and discussion of the expected impact of the campaign.

The presentations were evaluated by an expert panel of judges comprising Dr. Shilpa Bhakar, Dr. C. Anirvinna, and Dr. Snehal Chandra. The evaluation criteria included creativity, originality, technical innovation, market relevance, and presentation quality, ensuring a rigorous and comprehensive assessment of each team’s work.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, innovative thinking, and confident presentations from students across disciplines. Ad-Innovate successfully provided hands-on exposure to modern advertising practices while encouraging students to integrate creativity with technology and marketing strategy.

The organizing team extends sincere gratitude to Dr. Smita for her unwavering support and guidance in making the event a success. The event was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Rashmi Dyondi and Ms. Mehak Mahajan. The department also acknowledges the constant encouragement and support provided by Dr. Brajesh (Dean, FoMCA) and CA (Dr.) Kamakshi Mehta, Head of the Department of Management, TSB, FoMCA.

Overall, Ad-Innovate @ TechIdeate 2026 emerged as a highly engaging and impactful event, reinforcing experiential learning, innovation, and industry-relevant skill development among students.
