On April 3, 2025, the School of Architecture and Design, under the Faculty of Science, Technology and Architecture, in collaboration with the Heritage Club, Manipal University Jaipur, organized an expert lecture titled “The Making and Unmaking of Chandigarh.” The session was hosted at the Chandigarh College of Architecture and conducted by Ar. Chitrangda Sharma, an esteemed academic and practitioner in the field of urban design and planning. The lecture aimed to offer students a critical understanding of Le Corbusier’s design ideology and the urban planning framework that shaped Chandigarh—India’s first post- independence planned city.
