The School of Architecture & Design at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) organized a 1-Day Expert Lecture cum Workshop by Ar. Sankalp Arora, a distinguished practicing architect from Jaipur, on 24th April 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event was specifically designed for 4th and 6th semester B.Arch. students to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice.

Ar. Sankalp Arora, a graduate of Aayojan School of Architecture (Batch 2007–2012), brought a wealth of experience in translating concepts into built form while balancing functional, aesthetic, social, environmental, and technical considerations. His practice encompassed the creative integration of materials, technology, light, and space, alongside the pragmatic aspects of project realization such as scheduling, cost estimation, construction administration, and technical documentation.

The workshop aimed to expose students to real-world architectural practices, focusing on the process of planning, designing, and executing built environments. By engaging with an experienced professional, students gained critical insights into Conceptual Design Development, Technical Documentation, Project Management, and Problem-Solving Skills.

The event was aligned with the principles of SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). It emphasized the integration of advanced technologies and sustainable practices in building construction, preparing students to design efficient, sustainable, and globally standard-compliant buildings.
