The One Day Industry Exposure at Specta was organized to provide BHM students with firsthand industry insights, bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application. The visit focused on exploring the sourcing, processing, and application of marble, granite, and other hard-floor surfaces in hospitality interiors.
Students gained exposure to industry standards, durability factors, maintenance practices, and sustainability trends in surface manufacturing. During the visit, industry experts conducted interactive sessions highlighting innovative uses of natural stone, eco-friendly practices, and evolving design trends in the hospitality sector.
The tour included a detailed walkthrough of the manufacturing unit, allowing students to observe production techniques and quality control measures. Faculty members facilitated discussions to help students connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications, fostering a deeper understanding of hotel interior aesthetics.
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A segment where students interacted with professionals to clarify doubts and gain career-oriented insights.
