The last decade has witnessed fast developments and substantial achievements that have been shaping the field of flexible electronics. In order to forge interactions among active researchers in the area of flexible electronics, Department of Electrical Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur, Jaipur is organizing the 5th International Conference on Flexible Electronics on Electric Vehicle (FlexEV-2025) on October 07-08, 2025 in Jaipur, India.

Conference Aims and Objectives

This Conference on Flexible Electronics for Electric Vehicles (FlexEV-2025) aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Flexible Electronics. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered, and solutions adopted in the fields of Flexible Electronics for Electric Vehicles.

Flexible Electronics

Traditional electronics like integrated circuits or solar cells are generally built on thick inflexible substrates. Instead, flexible electronics - built on substrates like plastic or metallic foil - can be folded, wrapped, rolled, and twisted with negligible effect on its electronic function. Flexible electronics is typically composed of a bilayer of thin passive substrate (e.g., plastic, textile, etc.) topped with a second layer of active electronic components.

Flexible Electronics is a wide-open and rapidly developing field of research, development, pilot production, and field trials. Developmental work on flexible electronic platforms continues apace, where the mechanical flexibility intrinsic to these systems is opening a vast array of technological opportunities that would be unthinkable with conventional electronic devices. The theme of flexible electronics on Electric Vehicle will set its sights firmly on the future, by exploring how such developments will impact on society by helping to tackle challenges in areas such as health, energy, ubiquitous electronics and the "Internet of Things".

Call for Papers

Authors are encouraged to submit their Full-length paper on most recent research, case studies, and technological advancements that are in accordance with (but not limited to) the conference tracks. The proceedings of the FlexEV 2021 (Flexible Electronics for Electric Vehicles: Select Proceedings of FlexEV-2021 | SpringerLink) and FlexEV 2022 (Flexible Electronics for Electric Vehicles: Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference, FlexEV 2022 | SpringerLink) of the conference series were published in SCOPUS indexed Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE). The fourth version of the conference was organized in December 2024 and its proceedings will be published in SCOPUS indexed Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering, Springer. We are planning to publish the proceedings of the 5th version - FlexEV 2025 in Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE).
