Junior Research Fellow position in Department of Civil Engineering

Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST funded (India-Czech Bilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation call 2019) research project [DST/IND/Czech/P-13/2019] with the following details:

• Title of the Project :Design of Performance Based Concrete Using Sand Reclaimed from Construction and Demolition Waste
• Principal Investigator :Dr. Bhavna Tripathi, Director School of Civil & Chemical Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur
• Project position :JRF (01)
• Essential qualification :B.E/B. Tech in Civil with M.E./M. Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) in UG and PG.
• Desirable :Candidate should have qualified GATE or any other national level examination.
  Candidate having proficiency in English language, knowledge and research experience in the area of concrete technology will be given preference.<
• Duration :The project is in progress from January 2021 for a duration of three years. The appointment will be purely temporary on contract basis with an initial appointment for a period of one year, which may be extended based on candidate's performance up to January 2024 or project completion date, whichever is earlier.
• Fellowship :JRF: Rs. 31,000/- per month, plus 16% HRA

• The selected candidate should opt for Ph.D. at MUJ (announced twice a year) as per provision in the above research area after fulfilling the required criteria for PhD admission.
• No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or at the time of joining the post.
