  • Project Overview:The research project will carry out systematic investigation on incorporation of selective additives and nanofillers within suitable rubber matrix or matrix blends towards developing high performance composites. The developed elastomeric composites will be evaluated for microstructural evolution, mechanical, thermal and long-term durability properties, which in turn will assist in identifying the optimized material and process parameters. The research project fellow will have the opportunity to handle state of the art processing, compounding, characterization and testing equipment, following suitable training.
  • Project Location:BIONAC Research Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
  • Qualification/Experience: Essential: M.Tech./B.Tech./M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Rubber Technology or equivalent.
    Desirable: Experience in rubber compounding and polymer processing. Knowledge of rubber chemistry, tyre tread formulation. The candidate should possess good oral and written communication skills.
