Position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for the position of JRF for a research project funded by BEIL Infrastructure Ltd. at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) with the following details:

• Principal Investigator Prof. Abhishek Sharma, Professor, Department of Biotechnology & Chemical Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur.
• Details of research work The work pertains to developing process and its validation for use of bio- char as potential material in cement/concrete. It will be supervised by Prof. Bhavna Tripathi, Director School of Civil & Chemical Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur.
• Project position JRF (01)
• Qualification & Eligibility B. Tech/M. Tech in Civil/Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) in UG and PG. Eligibility for JRF as per OM SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10 July 2020 will be applicable.
• Age limit Not more than 35 years
• DesirablePreference will be given to candidates meeting the following: · GATE qualified. · Proficiency in English language. · Knowledge of concrete mix design/mechanical & durability testing, and characterisation of materials. · Publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Duration1 year The appointment will be purely temporary on contract basis.
• Fellowship Rs. 31,000/- per month, plus 18% HRA (as per DST rules)
