Project Fellow position in Department of Mechanical Engineering

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to work as Project Fellow in an Industry Funded R&D Project at BIONAC Research Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Manipal University Jaipur.

• Title of the Project :Development of High Performance Tread Rubber Composites

• Project Overview :A systematic investigation will be carried out in this research project to incorporate selective additives and nanofillers within suitable elastomeric matrix or matrix blends towards developing high performance tread rubber composites. The developed elastomeric composites will be evaluated for microstructural features, mechanical, thermal and long-term durability properties, which in turn will assist in identifying the optimized material and process parameters. The project fellow will have the opportunity to handle state of the art processing, compounding, characterization and testing equipment, following suitable training.
• Essential qualification :B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/Polymer Science/Rubber Technology or equivalent.
• Fellowship :Rs. 15,000/- per month.
