MUJ Student awarded at Digi-Fest, Bikaner

MUJ Student awarded at Digi-Fest, Bikaner
hird year students of Computer and Communication Engineering (CCE), Manipal University Jaipur naming Avneesh Nolkha, Sarthak Agarwal, Virat Kumar has been awarded 3rd Position in Green-a-Thon organised by Government of Rajasthan as part of Digi-Fest at Bikaner from 25 to 27 July, 2018. They are awarded Rs 7.5 Lakh to implement their project proposal. The award ceremony of the function was graced by Hon'ble Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje, Government of Rajasthan.
The title of the winning project is "Automatic Classification Method for Waste Segregation : An A.I. based approach to Solid Waste Segregation and Classification"
Description: Machine learning based system that has the capability to segregate Municipality Solid Waste in various categories such as (Wood/Metal/Bio Degradable/ Plastic etc).
