TDTC Training on Sanitation, Health and Hygiene
TDTC Training on Sanitation, Health and Hygiene was organized by Dr. Meena Kumari Sharma, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering. The training was conducted in Narvaria Village. The main objective of the training was to increase the knowledge and awareness about the significance of sanitation and to achieve the ultimate goal of Swachh Bharat Mission for a safe, secure and healthy environment for the rural people of India. Most of the rural population were unaware of the link between exposed excreta and its harmful effects on the human health. This training session was very important in changing the mind-set of the society towards the hygienic practices for the prevention of infectious diseases and promoting public health. Total 30 women participants involved in the training and get directly benefitted and trained. This method will actively involve participants in learning process and allow them to learn from their practical actions This training was successfully conveyed by Dr. Meena Kumari Sharma, Prof. Anil Dutt Vyas, Mr. Sagar Gupta and Dr. Bhavna Tripathi Coordinator TDTC.
