Manipal International Chefs' Conclave 2.0

Manipal University Jaipur successfully organized the Manipal International Chefs' Conclave 2.0, bringing together renowned chefs, hospitality professionals, academicians, and students from across India and abroad.

The conclave was based on the theme "Culinary Heritage of Rajasthan & Its Impact on Tourism Economy", focusing on how traditional cuisine contributes to tourism growth and economic development.

The event began with a traditional welcome ceremony including Tilak, Safa Ceremony, Lamp Lighting, and Saraswati Vandana, followed by addresses from dignitaries including Dr. Karunakar A. Kotegar (Pro-Vice Chancellor, MUJ) and Dr. Brajesh Kumar (Dean, FoMCA).

Eminent chefs who participated included Chef Manjit Singh Gill, Chef Vijaya Baskaran, Chef Ajay Chopra, Chef Sabyasachi Gorai, Chef Vimal Dhar, Chef Ashish Bhasin, Chef Akshraj Jodha, Chef Nand Lal Sharma, Chef Dr. Rajeev Goyal, Chef TC Gokhan Kesen (Turkey), Chef Amey Marathe, Chef Ravikant Pathak, Chef Abhiru Biswas, Chef Bharat Alagh, Chef Sumanta Chakrabarti, Chef Dr. Sangeeta Dhar, and Chef Manjit Singh Ratoo.

Keynote sessions and panel discussions were conducted on culinary tourism, sustainability, socio-economic impact of gastronomy, and the role of social media in preserving or influencing culinary authenticity.

The conclave also featured a Culinary Quiz, networking opportunities, and student interaction sessions, making it an enriching platform for aspiring hospitality professionals.
