The Department of Commerce, Manipal University Jaipur, organized an engaging Industry Expert Lecture Series on Investor Awareness and Financial Education for students of B.Com (Hons Fintech) and M.Com (Financial Analysis). The 10-hours session, conducted on 9th and 10th March 2026, was delivered by Dr. Ishu Tayal, Regional Head – West, NSDL, and NISM empanelled Trainer, who shared valuable insights on the Indian securities market ecosystem, investment opportunities, concept of Inflation and its impact on investments, Monetary Policy Interventions by the RBI and investor protection mechanisms.

With his extensive experience in the financial sector, Dr. Tayal enriched the session with practical perspectives on financial markets and responsible investing. Conducted in association with NISM’s Investor Awareness Program (IAP) and aligned with Vivriti Capital Limited CSR initiative, “Financial Literacy Project-FinLit,” the lecture aimed to strengthen students’ financial literacy and promote informed financial decision-making.

The session proved to be highly informative and impactful, encouraging students to adopt a more aware, disciplined, and responsible approach toward personal finance and investment planning.
