The Department of Management, TAPMI School of Business, organized Vyapar Vikas, a social outreach initiative aimed at supporting local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on 16 January 2026.

The event was conducted by student volunteers to spread awareness about enhancing business reach using social media marketing and digital tools. Students engaged directly with local business owners through flyer distribution and one-on-one discussions, offering simple and practical strategies for business growth.

Key focus areas included:

Use of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp for business promotion
Low-budget digital advertising and customer targeting
Basic branding, online visibility, and customer engagement strategies

The initiative benefited 20+ MSME owners including shopkeepers, small retailers, and service providers. It also provided experiential learning to students by strengthening their communication skills and understanding of real-world business challenges.

The event aligns with SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic, promoting inclusive economic development and entrepreneurial empowerment.
