1. Introduction and Objectives
Department of Economics, TAPMI School of Business, FoMCA will organize International Conference on Transition, Resilience, and Applied Economics (ICTRAE 2026) in physical mode on 29-30 June 2026 at Manipal University Jaipur.
ICTRAE 2026 is an international academic conference dedicated to advancing economic theory and applied empirical research on transition and resilience in a rapidly changing global economy. The conference is firmly grounded in the discipline of Economics, with a focus on applied economics, welfare economics, development economics, and policy analysis in the context of structural transformation, climate change, energy transitions, and institutional changes.

2. Conference Tracks
i. Economic Transitions and Structural Change (Aligned with SDG 8 & SDG 9): This track examines the economic processes underlying structural transformation, green growth, and energy transitions. It focuses on how shifts in production, technology, urbanisation and sectoral composition affect growth, productivity, employment, and long-term development.
ii. Resilience, Shocks, and Macroeconomic Stability (Aligned with SDG 13): This track analyses economic resilience to climate, energy, and environmental shocks. Contributions address macroeconomic stability, vulnerability, adaptation, and recovery using applied economic models and empirical evidence.
iii. Capabilities, Inequality, and Welfare Economics (Aligned with SDG 1, SDG 5 & SDG 10): This track explicitly incorporates the Capability Approach to assess welfare outcomes beyond income. It focuses on inequality, poverty, gender, and access to opportunities, examining how economic transitions shape individuals' capabilities and economic freedoms.
iv. Finance, Financial Stability, and Sustainable Development (Aligned with SDG 8, SDG 12 & SDG 17): This track focuses on the role of financial systems in supporting economic transition and resilience. It covers sustainable finance, green finance, climate risk, financial stability, development finance, and capital markets in emerging economies. Contributions may examine how financial institutions, policies, and innovations facilitate investment, risk management, and inclusive growth during periods of structural and environmental transition.
v. Policy, Institutions, and Applied Economic Methods (Aligned with SDG 16 & SDG 17): This track emphasizes policy oriented applied economics and methodological innovation. It evaluates economic policies, institutional frameworks, and governance mechanisms using advanced econometric and data driven methods
3. Publication Opportunities (Scopus Indexed Journal)
Selected papers presented at the conference will have the opportunity to be considered for publication in Special Issues of Springer journals, subject to the journals' editorial policies and peer-review processes. Both journals operate under an Open Access model, and therefore Article Processing Charges (APC) will be applicable for accepted manuscripts as per the respective journal guidelines.

4. Best Paper Awards
To encourage academic excellence and high-quality submissions, it is proposed to provide a Best Paper Award of ₹10,000 for each of the five conference tracks.
Note: Eligibility for the Best Paper Award shall be restricted exclusively to full paper submissions
5. Important Dates
Extended Abstract Submission: April 10, 2026
Notification of Acceptance: To be communicated within 10 days of the receipt of the extended abstract.
Full Paper Submission: May 10, 2026
