Advertisement for Research Assistant Position in ICSSR-Sponsored Project Evolving Genealogies: Lineage, Succession, Inheritance Practices, and Family Law in Contemporary Indian Families – A Historical and Empirical Exploration

Online Applications are invited for the position of one Research Assistant to work under the project titled Evolving Genealogies: Lineage, Succession, Inheritance Practices, and Family Law in Contemporary Indian Families – A Historical and Empirical Exploration. The position details are given below:

Position One
Essential Qualification(s) Post-graduate in any social science discipline (55% minimum) with NET / M.Phil. / Ph.D.
Desirable Prior experience in field work, data integration, and compilation. Good knowledge of research methodology. The job profile requires the research associate to be on campus and to conduct fieldwork as needed, per the project\'s requirements.
Fellowship As per ICSSR norms, with emoluments of Rs. 37,000/- INR.
Duration One Year, starting from May 1st, 2026 to 31st April 2027.
