Dr. Prakash Ramani serves as the Director – Admissions at Manipal University Jaipur and is also a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He brings extensive experience in higher education administration, strategic enrolment management, and academic leadership. With a strong understanding of academic systems and regulatory frameworks, he plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing admission strategies aligned with institutional goals.

In his role as Director – Admissions, Dr. Ramani oversees the complete admissions lifecycle — from planning and lead generation to counselling, conversion, and enrolment management. He has been instrumental in enhancing institutional visibility, strengthening student engagement processes, and ensuring transparency, compliance, and efficiency in admissions operations.

Dr. Ramani completed his Bachelor of Engineering in 1991, Master of Technology in 2006, and Ph.D. in 2014. With over 25 years of teaching experience, he has made significant contributions to academics, research, and institutional development.

Prior to joining Manipal University Jaipur, he served as Principal at Global College of Technology, Jaipur, contributing to academic and administrative excellence. Since January 2019, alongside his academic responsibilities, he has been actively involved in admissions leadership, initially serving as Deputy Director – Admissions before assuming the role of Director – Admissions.

His teaching and research interests include Programming, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Databases, Machine Learning, and Data Mining. Through his combined academic and administrative expertise, Dr. Ramani continues to contribute meaningfully to institutional growth and student success.
