In today’s increasingly digital world, cybersecurity is no longer optional—it is essential. As cloud adoption grows and cyber threats become more sophisticated, traditional security models are no longer sufficient. The Zero Trust Security framework—built on the principle of “never trust, always verify”—offers a robust and adaptive approach to securing modern IT environments. To address these evolving challenges, the Department of Computer & Communication Engineering, FOSTA, is organizing a one-week ICT-based Short-Term Course (STC) on “Zero Trust Cloud Security”, in collaboration with Zscaler, a global leader in cloud-native cybersecurity solutions. The event will take place from 19th May 2025 to 23rd May 2025, in association with MUJ-TEC and IQAC. The course is being conducted by NITTTR Chandigarh, with Manipal University Jaipur as the remote center.
This STC aims to equip faculty, researchers, and students with the latest knowledge in cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, and best practices for securing digital infrastructure. The event supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by offering high-quality, skill-oriented learning opportunities. It also aligns with SDG Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by fostering technical expertise and promoting innovation in cybersecurity—key to building resilient and secure digital systems for the future. Through expert-led lectures, interactive sessions, and practical insights, this initiative seeks to develop a new generation of professionals ready to secure and strengthen tomorrow’s digital infrastructure.
